Privacy Policy
When you contact us, purchase household appliances, request advice, or arrange delivery or installation, we process your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. What information do we collect - and why?
We only process the personal data you provide when you contact us or make a purchase. This may include:
• Name, address, email address and telephone number.
• Information about your purchase, appliances and any specific installation requirements. We use this information to provide personalized advice at your premises, send you quotes and complete sales.
This enables us to provide personal advice at your premises, send you quotations, complete sales, and ensure your goods are delivered and installed correctly.
2. Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
• Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR): Processing is necessary for us to provide the advisory services, household appliances and installation services you have ordered.
• Compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR): We are required to retain invoices and accounting records in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
3. Who do we share your information with?
To run our business and deliver your products, we share your information with the service providers we need to work with:
• Suppliers and purchasing association: We share your order details with our suppliers, including Hvidt & Frit A.m.b.a., so that we can place and manage your order.
• Carriers: For delivery, we provide your name, address and telephone number to the third-party carriers transporting your products.
• Installation: If your appliances need to be installed, we share your address and contact details with our regular subcontractor, JJ CONSULT 2010 ApS, so the work can be carried out at your premises.
• Accounting and systems: We use Visma e-conomic for accounting and invoicing. The company’s financial affairs are handled by BHA Statsautoriseret Revision A/S. Our email correspondence is managed through Simply.com webmail.
Our external partners act either as independent data controllers or as data processors and are subject to the GDPR. Your information is not transferred outside the EU/EEA.
4. How long do we keep your data?
We retain your information for five years from the end of the financial year in which your purchase or case was completed. We do this to meet the record-keeping requirements of the Danish Bookkeeping Act and to handle any warranty claims relating to your appliances. After this period, your information is automatically deleted or anonymized in e-conomic.
5. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights regarding our processing of your personal data:
• You have the right to access the information we process about you.
• You have the right to have inaccurate information corrected.
• You have the right to have your information erased before the standard retention period expires if it is no longer necessary for our agreement or legal obligations.
