An American-style fridge-freezer provides generous fresh and frozen food storage. Appliance Consultant Copenhagen helps expats choose a model that fits their home, with advice in English. We also assist embassies and international institutions with appliances for residences and staff accommodation.
Side-by-side or French-door?
American-style fridge-freezers include side-by-side and French-door designs. Side-by-side models usually place fresh and frozen storage next to each other. French-door models have two upper fridge doors and separate freezer storage below. We help you choose a suitable layout and check door opening, drawer clearance and access to your home.
Measure the kitchen and access route
As well as the appliance’s width, height and depth, allow the manufacturer’s required ventilation and door-opening space. Check the route through entrances, stairwells and corridors. We help clarify these conditions before you order.
Check the water and ice requirements
Some models have water and ice dispensers that require a mains water connection; others use a refillable tank or have no dispenser. We review the specific model’s requirements and the installation conditions in your home.
Storage layout and finish
Consider how you use fresh and frozen storage and which layout gives the best access to your food. We also advise on white or stainless steel finishes, noise levels and energy consumption for the models relevant to you.
From choosing a model to delivery
We can help arrange measurements, delivery and professional installation. Send photos of the intended position and access route so we can discuss the options and prepare a quote for your requirements.
